Slingshot Racer is a racing game that takes the player through holiday-themed maps with a twist on assuming starting position. Race AI bots around 3 laps, avoid obstacles, and collect interactables to use against your opponents. 

Combine skill and luck to be the first race champion! Starting positions decided in a way that you have never seen before! Try to Launch yourself to be the top racer and hope no one can catch up to you.

This game is a project for the game expo held by Florida Polytechnic University on December 7th, and will be ready to play by then. Get ready to play and cast your vote!

Interesting software engineering fact : Just like in real life the weight of the car matters a lot when trying to go through the track. The car reacts differently to the 3 levels in the game so the cars downforce has to be adjusted accordingly
